Retired from Shell Group after 24 years of supply chain and major project assignments in Nigeria, UK and USA. He also managed major oil & gas projects at various sites in Nigeria, Europe, Far East and the Americas. He is registered with COREN and Nigerian Society of Engineers. |

A Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers and a Fellow of Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, he holds a 1978 University of Lagos Chemical Engineering Degree. |

Current Shehu of Borno, obtained double Master’s degree from University of Maiduguri, Masters Degree programme in Public Administration (MPA) in year 2000 and Masters Programme in Industrial and Labour Relations in 1998. Before his appointment as the Shehu of Borno in 2009, he worked at various levels of the public sector for 33 years reaching the pinnacle of Permanent Secretary and served at that level for 16 years. The Shehu was awarded Honorary Degree of Dr. of Philosophy in Public Administration by the Houdegbe North American University. |

Graduated B.Sc (Hons) Second Class (Upper Division) Physics from the University of Ibadan in 1972 and Master of Science (M.Sc) Geophysics and Diploma of Imperial College (D.I.C) Geophysics from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London 1979. Mr Fadayomi's career in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC) spanned 34 years during which he held top Technical and Management positions at various times as Manager, Exploration, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC);General Manager, Production Sharing Contract Division (PSC, NAPIMS ); Group General Manager (LNG & Power) ; Managing Director, Nigerian Gas Company (NGC ) and Managing Director, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC).
He later worked for about 3 years as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Limited. He is a past President and Fellow, Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS)
Mr Fadayomi is widely travelled in Africa, North and South America, India, Japan, Korea etc. |
